AC Delco Upper Engine and Fuel Injector Cleaner

I guess I missed something major? The old "good stuff" seems GONE unless you want to give the vultures your left nut. I've seen a few remaining bottles on flEbay for $75-$250+ a bottle. Used to be $15, right?

Has anyone come across anything that works as well as mixing up 16oz with a little diesel and running this stuff till empty? I'm pretty bummed that it's gone.

Looks like it was discontinued and replaced with part number 19355198. Runs about $35/can, but they might be 32 oz instead of 16. Though I've seen it claimed as either 32 or 16 oz, so who knows. So it is either about the same price ($17.5 per 16oz) or 2x as much ($35 per 16oz) depending on what size the can actually is. Still better than the remaining New Old Stock of the previous part number you find at $50+/bottle.

I read that, and I read where someone tried to determine if it was the same. Because it's proprietary, the MSDS didn't help much. But, they did find where the old was listed as "cleaner" and the new as "additive". I'm betting it's not the same

The "old stuff" was a low voc reformulation of the origanal cleaner. The real old stuff WORKED! WAY better than the "old stuff", but I wouldn't be surprised if it changed again.

Seafoam mixed with 2 stroke oil it what I used when I had a sticky fpr back when.
