aam rear axle help

looking at a aam rear axle out of a dodge not sure on year it is a dually now my question is I would like to go through it fix it up put a locker in it ect because the axle in my 06 lbz is trashed so could I make the dually axle a single wheel with the hubs off my 06 or are dually spindles different I know there are some differences between the 2 axles but just wondering if I could make it a single wheel thanks guys

Dually axles are wider than single wheel axles.

You would have to cut the tubes down. There is about a 2.5 i ch difference and you could technically make up for it with back spacing i guess

The axle tubing diameter is bigger in the dodge vs chev.
I think dodge is 4" and Chev is 3.5".

X2.^^^. Gm uses a necked down axle tube. Dodge uses a true 4"
