Id use bags of black dirt from Lowes before Id use sand. You'd more than likely be able to use the dirt around the yard after the pull was over. The sand bags just take up space.

I normally just dump them. We live in a desert, and dumping sand is like throwing your leaves in a forest, or dumping water in Hawaii.
That's why I use 50lb sandbags. Easy to adjust weight, and you don't have to carry 1600 lb back home with you.
Or you could drop them off at CompD headquarters so they can have a bigger sandbox to play in! Them clowns are unbelievable => :baby: (S)
I don't care what you put in your bags, sand or dirt, just make it to the pull. It is tuning out to be a reunion of sorts for the diesel community in So Cal. The who's who and the soon to be will be there. This is where the excuses end and and the players come out. If you consider yourself a diesel pickup enthusiast and you live on the west coast, you need to be here, and you need to hook. I will have a couple of hitches to rent for the pull, first come first serve, or you can buy them - just be there.:rockon: See you all on Saturday.

He's right! It would be a good way to finally do the trans in and give me a reason to get a built one in there. With a better converter.
Turning out to be the big event of the year . Most everybody i know is going to be there this year . Going to be a great event . Im working on getting a hitch , but might be one of those looking for one . Been looking forward to it since last year .
