If somebody has a loading dock out there that a Semi truck can get to, I, or somebody else, can get a truckload out there.
51 barrels at 900lbs is 45,900 lbs, a semi can usually take up to 46,000 lbs.
At a freight rate of $1.50/mile, at 1560miles (Houston to L.A.) that is $2340 for the load.
$2340 / 51 barrels = $45.89 shipping per barrel.
On the downside, somebody would have to prepay for the fuel itself.
51 barrels at $249 is $12,700 in fuel, plus the $2340 for shipping...
Anybody have $15,040 handy?
Also, after shipping, it would come out to $5.36/gallon...

For 2-12 barrels they give a $20/barrel discount. Im sure we can work a better price if someone were to seriously purchase 51 barrels.
And a barrel should only be about 450 pounds each, not 900, assuming diesel weighs similar to water.
I have a 5000lb forklift and hand trucks, which gets me the "dock" freight rate.
If we can get 25 guys who will buy $600 worth of racing diesel (2 bbl) in SoCal, I can deal with the loading and unloading.
At a loading dock? Or at the least, a large-ish open area off-street? Cali is pretty strict against parking a Bigtruck in any street... If you are side unloading it, (from the ground with said forklift) order it on a flatbed, they can take about 50k lbs instead of only 45k-46k...
I have a business, and often unload semitrucks, this is in an industrial park. Our freight rate is "dock rate".
PS - You do realize this is Racing Fuel only?
Because if it was to be used for highway, it would be tax evasion unless taxes were paid. You should be sure the bill of lading says racing fuel, not-for-highway-use.
As for evasion, If you are still a performance bus., what is unusal about ordering racing fuel? :secret:
Yup, I did not pay fuel taxes on my two testing barrels.
I think we should test this stuff before we buy a semi-truck load?
