:hello: I plan on putting some spray on box liner on the rocker panels on my truck. But I can't decide if I go with the same color as the truck, or go black.
It has been all de-badged, and I am going to also take off the trim on the doors. My goal is to get rid of as much shiney as I can and go with black and the paint color.
What do you guys think?? Look at the pic and then vote in the poll. I'm counting on you guys to help me out here. GO TEAM!!:D

Thanks

I vote Black! I had my 02 Rhinolined right after I bought it. I live on a dirt road. I had paint the rockers on my 95 every other year to keep it nice. The Rhino liner held up great. The 07 has Linex but not as high as I did on the 02.

When I wash it and spray the liner with Maguires Hot Tire Shine most will never notice it is not paint. :) With the Black flares and wheels it will look great IMHO.

I like the clear 3-M stuff. The rino/rock guard stuff needs armor all or similiar after awhile, 2-3 years. I live in a hotter climate though.

When and if you go with the clear 3-M stuff don't go to a car dealer, tint shop. Go to a commercial glass shop and tell them you want graffitti film for glass. Hell of alot cheaper and it's the same stuff. A guy could use it as a "chip guard" on his lower air dam and front of hood. It's not permanent if ever damaged, R and R and you have a new finish.:)

Good luck.
