just got my V2 today and have some questions.

1. how do you change the units from metric to imperial?? im talking in the tuning area. I found the duramax imperial dashboard but I want the units in area where you make changes to a tune to be in standard format.

2. how do you change tires size for speedo calibration. I've got 285 70 17's how do I change to this??

Easy. Open tune file, open speedometer, open tire calculator, put in tire size then apply. For switching imperial to metric, it's either under file or edit. Can't remember which one but just look through there and you will find it.

Mmm, not that easy on the tire size. GPS and a little time will get it spot on.

As far as units, it's Edit>configure display units>all>imperial.

Type in H0102 in search area. Then hit enter. That will take you to speedometer section. Then next to description you will see speedo calculator. Hit that and that will give you info you need to change tire size.

To change units go into the engine operations section. Towards the top right side of page you will see a conversions tab. Hit that. Then click on the FROM and select option. Then go to the TO section.

Hope this helps.:thumb:

You beat me to punch and I was wrong about the imperial.

To the OP. Like Steve said that will only get you close. I had to adjust the tire size a little to get my speedo right on.

wow, you guys are on the ball. lots of info in a matter of minutes!!! I'm having trouble connecting to scan I try in version 8 and it says the option isnt available yet, and I try in version 7.5 and it says to go to the EFILIVE control panel and configure it there. when I do I cant enter in my license number or anything the cursor will show up in the correct field but it wont let me type in my license number. I've read my calibration made my changes and reloaded it to the truck and all went well, I just cant scan for trouble codes or data scanning

Yeah the V8 scan tool isn't out yet.

You don't need to enter any serial or license numbers to use the scan tool. Just connect with the green circle in the upper left hand corner and select your ECM from the dropdown list.
