Based on what Wade posted in the DP thread it sounds like they may have some sort of custom programming that uses non standard clutch combinations to make gears that aren't equivalent to any gears used in our trucks. Anyone know how many clutch pack combinations you can have that will give you forward gears and what ratio they create?

that is not possible. The planetaries are setup to only provide one set of ratios. You can not change the ratios without changing the planetaries (kind of like an allison 2000 series). They are using the same clutchpack combos and gear ratios as we are, the only difference is that they are just not using a couple gears...for example they skip 3rd gear and go right from 2nd to 4th.
