Can u post some pics of motor mounts u built and dash mods looking to do this to my truck thanks .
The motor mounts are simpler than you'd think, but the way I did mine is more unique than your average person is going to go to the trouble of doing. I just too the stock motor mounts that bolt to the perches on the stock frame, cut them off flush in the rear at the correct depth, welded them to the inside of the '85 frame rail, then brought the tubing plates up to it on the face of the frame, cut them out to fit around the motor mounts, then welded it all together. With the dash, I took the factory dash completely out of the '85, then took the Fax dash all the way down to its skeleton, positioned it in the cab, then cut away what was necessary a little bit at a time. It was a very time consuming process.
I want to see a video of it doing a burn out !
Well, right now, it's on 46's, but I haven't had time to swap the axles out yet, so I don't think I'll be doing any burnouts any time soon.:spit:
I'll try to get back on here in the next couple days when I have more time to share some more info with y'all.
