4708. i decided to go that route because 1. i got a awesome deal on it, and 2. when i saw bigbird post up about 90+ lbs boost with his i said screw that. i only have regular headstuds. he said he was putting a wastegate in the limit it to about 80lbs. well mine sees that without the added money of a wastegate.
Ya, I still have the regular head studs too. It is the only thing I am a little worried about. I just couldn't bring myself to spend the extra money on the fancy studs when I already had the standard ones, but if the 14mm studs had been available when I built my engine, I might have used them. I'm kind of interested to see what kind of boost numbers I see with my twins. I won't have a wastegate on mine either.

How were the EGTs on your 1/8 mile run? Did you do any significant weight reduction (anything more than dropping the tailgate and/or spare tire)?

Congratulations!! When you say ladder bars as part of your suspension do you mean real ladder bars or caltracs? Longer ladder bars have a tendency to lift the frontend not hold it down. Might was to talk to Trent and IdahoRob a little on your suspension setup. I totally agree, QA1 would be a better option than Rancho 9000's. After seeing what they did for Max'd Out I replaced all my 9000's on White Out with QA1's. Looking forward to seeing your truck run at OBX Josh. All your hard work is paying off.

yeah mine are cognito trac bars. they are 60inches long. they were one of the first thing i bought, and i never thought i would get to this level. im going to try some qa1's up front probably. its not too bad though. ill probably wait and see what my 60's are when it gets a little warmer out.

 I hear you. I get "in the zone" like that too sometimes. I have to force myself to look at the gauges. It's pretty common for me to forget to look at them. Anyway, congrats again on the run.

Hell when I was driving Max'd Out it about all I could do to keep my eyes open:eek: let alone look at anything. Rob, "did you log it?" Ken, "what log?" Rob, "What was the drive pressure?" Ken, "what drive pressure?" :D

Too much stuff going through my mind during the pass to pay attention to gauges. One eye on the egts while in the staging beams and that is about it for me.

I'm lucky if I remember to activate the Ally Locker, click the EFI Live record button on the laptop, and make sure the gear selector is in "5".

Top item on my list for next year is a RacePak data logger & dash unit.
