Some one said to use a certain hair spray on the boots. It gets kinda dry sticky and helps hold them on.
Helps if a guy actually tightens the clamps down too 😅. After polishing the tubes I don't think I went back with a wrench after buzzing them down with the impact.

Got the dash mostly wired up. Gonna have to do some custom programming on the onegauge system to get my hi beam light, glow plug, and tow haul to work as well as hopefully get gms pids to work for gear select and fuel gauge.

What’s the plan for the interior?
TMI dash pad, tmi door panels, tmi carpet, custom headliner made to match the grey plaid, custom center console with sub and back wall will house amps and speakers all wrapped in matching charcoal vinyl to the tmi stuff.

Awesome conversion, I am SO happy to see you made it through that roll over OK.
My donor 08 LMM looks very similar and I often wondered if anyone could have survived....

TMAN, you've got to get the new project on here (sorry if I missed it ) and get some of these smart cats on here to help figure out how to get the 3.0L duramax to run stand alone in it!

The more I looked into that the more I decided it wasn't worth it. Finding a donor is too expensive to even want to start that process right now. For anyone wondering this is what he's talking about.

Bought a very crusty 72 blazer. Originally wanted to try doing an lm2 swap but after watching copart for a while it seamed like a wrecked donor was going to cost me 20k or better. Found a wrecked 2003 lb7 for a donor on this one. Also as you can see the 67 is kind of "done"

Been driving it quite a bit this summer. Only major issue I've had with it was the rear axle seal going out when I took it to a car show 200 miles away 😅
