So I’m guessing this isn’t a tri-power ? And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Duramax in a gto before. My brother used Butler for his 400 in his ‘67 gto. Ran really good. But that’s lame gas talk lol

I'm buying a members truck from here it was a theft recovery and I'm gonna use alot off it for this car. That 455 is cute an all but when you've been bitten by the D max torque ug there's no replacement. Bought it last fall and everytime I put my foot into it I keep waiting for that big hit like my 04 had with the twins and it's just not there

Hey thx Zak

Mike I'd like to leave the 400 in it but I dont see it standing up to the D max I have heard they are but I dont have the money it takes to make the 400 work behind.Probably gonna have to cut the tunnel out and go bigger to get the Allison in there.

The pan is going to scrape pretty bad. Same thing happened to the Grand National I built a few years ago. Wound up bulding a 4L85 for it.

I know they put the 4L85 behind the D max in the Van's but I didnt think they were standing up to a stock Duramax I'm the long run but I'm open to the right package.Plans are to do power tours I'll be pulling a trailer for slicks tools whatever.

more and more guys are starting to race them and they are holding up. a light car like you got will really help.
