Going to be taking the truck to the track tomorrow night. 603 Diesels is holding a track night at New England Dragway and will have a quick 8 1/8 mile shootout. Fastest 8 qualifiers go into the bracket. Fastest truck moves on each round. Pretty pumped to see what my truck will do with the new fuel and air but a little nervous about traction on street tires. Anyone else going?

I'll be there of course. After the racing is done you can make a pass or two on my cheaters to see what it will do in the 1/4

I might have to take you up on that if it is running good. Like I said the other day I haven't even tried tune 5 or used the lockup box lol.

Let it eat !!!! Better on trans if you use the lockup when hammering on it .

I always use it at the track. To be honest I haven't had the time to play with it on the street. The truck is too F'ing fast. Highway rolls get out of hand in a hurry. I will be flipping the lockup the second I let off the switch at the track though.

Oh really, please elaborate...I believe that is when the fun begins? I'm only at 750+ and thought that laying down a patch @ 75/80 was cool. I have been an admiring your ride for a bit, wanting to upgrade to what you just sold, We always want more than we have. I would like being at that 1***hp and daily driving one like what I have may just have to do, ecpecially with your last comment? Pardon the hijacking of the thread...

Ran the truck. Basically useless on street tires. If I spooled the truck past like 18psi on the line it just smoldered the tires. If I left at 15psi it would blow them off the second I locked the converter. Truck was spinning all 4 well past the 100ft mark and lit them off every time it shifted which made for some really terrible clunky shifts. Good news is nothing broke and Zach (dmax02) took home the $1000 with some seriously solid and consistent passes!
