Are you wanting trying to get a built trans in your race truck and considering swapping transmissions with your LMM? If you do that, you won't be able to make 6th gear work. What do you need to put a 6 speed trans in an 02?
Depends on how good of a deal it is. I don't think it would really be all that difficult to make it work. There are also a few changes in the 6 speeds that make them a little better than the 5s.So not worth it in other words?!?
I don't think he's trying to get 6th gear to work, Mitch. And the computers speak totally differently between those two. In short, not even remotely worth it.
I think the most pertinent bit of info from that list has to do with the cooler lines. Your best bet would probably be to swap valve bodies and internal wiring harnesses between the two transmissions and pull the transgo valves out of the built trans, install them in the 5 sp. VB, and drill the separating plate. When you are doing that you can swap the NSBU parts. You may also need to swap the bellhousing if the cooler lines are different, but none of that is really all that difficult. If the price is good, I would go for it.No I don't care about 6th gear.. So I just need to find that list of things....

Why not just use the Suncoast 6speed valvebody?
