pulled up on this beautiful debadged white 6.4L ford on the interstate. Friggin sweet looking truck, the guy definitely had good taste!
Well I guess I instigated the duel a little since I cruised up beside him and just stayed there for a minute or so. He nailed it and let back out (making sure I saw the smoke), once we were side by side he pinned it first and I pulled about half a truck length on him before he let back out. I slowed down and rolled my window down, thats how I found out he was running the Spartan 250hp tune. We slowed to about 50 mph and I let him have the start (so I already had to pull on him from his rear bumper). By 100mph I had him by 2 full truck lengths. I think this is pretty impressive since he had the jump on me! and yes...I was grinning ear to ear when I when past him!
Have I said how much I love my dmax lately?? ya, I love this truck! JoshH's tuning really woke it up!
On a side note, the fords with the Spartan 310hp tunes are going to be hurting a lot of feelings since this guys 250hp truck was no slouch. The 250hp tune is basic with the spartan tuner and they have to pay extra for the 275 and 310hp tunes. I think they have one up on us when comparing stock+tune only. Those dang Fords are getting quick!!
