Can anyone help me determine how much 5th wheel trailer I can tow and what my max pin weight would be on a 2019 2500hd crew cab standard bed? Not sure if payload is my max pin weight cause the Chevy trailering guide is blank for 2500’s. Thank you!

Fifth-wheel or gooseneck kingpin weight should be 15 percent to 25 percent of trailer weight.
Would probably be best to weight your truck, get front and rear weight
Then subtract that from your weight rating on your door sticker. If your hitch sits right above the rear axle then you can probably just use rear weight. If it sits forward of the axle some of the weight will be put on the front axle so you will need to adjust accordingly

The toy hauler I’m looking at is around 2600lb pin weight and 13k dry weight/15.5k max loaded. Would this be legal? Like what is the most pin weight I can have? Thanks!
According to the trailering guide max 5th wheel capacity is 13,500 lbs. With that, I think the 2,600 lb pin box weight is going to put you close on the rear axle. Pin box weight is estimated and can be higher or lower depending on how much you put in the trailer and where it's places. I think toy hauler weights are bases on max garage weight so king pin weight may be heavier if you do not max out the garage.

Total truck: 10,440 lbs
Drives: 5,740 lbs
Trailer axles: 7,880 lbs
Total: 18,300 lbs

Max rear axle is 6,200 lbs. I am over truck gross of 10,000 lbs, but under axle.

IIRC GM derated the AAM 11.5 in the earlier SRW trucks due to springs/tires and not an axle limit. I towed to Denver and back (1100mi one way) with my 02 LB7 grossing 23,880lb (~7200lb on the rear axle) without issue. This was with a 27ft gooseneck, my LLY on the trailer, box full of tools, food, parts etc, and 4 guys in the truck.
On a SRW truck, you will be hard pressed to overload the axle before the tires. On a different forum someone stated they talked to AAM and it is rated at 4950KG (10,120lb). This info is from 2008 so I believe it would be safe to assume it went up with the ever increasing towing wars.

Just curious, but what does the door sit sticker say rear max weight is? I thought it was the same until 2020.
Payload capacity is 2513lbs for a 2018 cc/sb, that’s keeping the truck at the max weight of 10k (you gain more capacity if its 2wd).
At 2600lbs max pin weight (generally what the trailers are saying, not actual as it Varys depending on weight distribution) I would say you are just fine. Max fifth wheel weight is 14800
But these are gray area numbers, not what commercial laws look at. They look at tire/axle weight rating on both truck and trailer.
I wouldn’t worry about it one bit. Make sure those trailer brakes are tip top, loaded it up and hit a scale. See where you weight is and adjust weight loss inside of you need less pin weight. I know my 38ft 5th wheel is pin heaviest only when I have no toys inside. The moment I start putting quads or sand car or tracker in there, my pin weight starts reducing.
