Peeps that have these bright ass lights on regular beam suck.... Ive recently moved and now trying to find my 2 million candle power spotlight to compete with this fad... Peeps with these 5k+, 12k whatever bulbs in regular headlamps, then placing them in all four headlamps suck also. Might have to buy a 2nd 2million candle power light to compete.... I dont even care to drive at night now... I never hear anyone rant about these darns lights... are my eyes gettin' that old?! I did have lasic done...

Time to buy these and wear them at night while driving.

LMAO, I do have some big Oakley Oil Rig glasses that I can throw on at night:)

Time to limo tint the windshield

Ive seen a couple front windshields tinted and actually would like it I believe. I drive so highway miles, dont want to draw attention to the hi po...

Ha, Ive been having fun with my spot light. HIDs in the projectors are fine because they direct the hid light to where it needs to be. Peeps putting hids in their regular head lamps that arent made for HIDs are a different story....

First suggestion: Don't stare at the headlights.

I've been on the recieving end of HID's in non-HID housings many times and they have never bothered me. I've been on the recieving end of the HID's in MY truck. They don't bother me. I just don't stare at them. If they bother you that much, you might want to go to your eye doctor and get your eyes checked for light sensitivity. Hell, my best friend has been on the recieving end of my HID's, they're bright, but they don't bother him and he can't even go outside on a cloudy day without sunglasses (He's even got a Rx from the doc allowing him to tint his windshield and tint his front windows WAY past "legal" because of this)! You know what is WAAAAY worse than HID's? Improperly aimed "conventional" lights. You're lucky you don't live near me... If someone pulled some crap like "having fun with their spot light" on me, let's just say their life would become a living hell. You MIGHT want to rethink that idea because there's a HUGE difference between HID's and 1M+ Candlepower shining straight in the face. Keep it up and someone's going to OWN your @$$.

Not to be extreme, I've hit a couple a@@ that's like all their lights on when I flash my lights to let them know it's bs. So if u do lice near me and u put all ur 6+ lights on me, welp just know I'll be ready to play with ya. You can take that to the bank. That's all I have to say about that.

Just guessing it's more regulated where u are at, it's not in Fort Worth. These jokers throw these lights in without ever adjusting them. Most can't adjust correctly! Have a best friend that had his brother by the typical blue bright 100 eBay lights, had to jb weld them in and driving his 3/4 cummins around broke the alignment and they bounce around blindin everyone. Another bid bought them and they are loose! I say 6 out of 10 are not installed properly and I'm pissed. Sorry if I pissed u off, but I'm thinkin ur lights are ok and dine right and have no reason to make a wise a@@ comment. If you knew me, you wouldn't have made that comment... I'm a very respectful person and don't wish ill on no one. I also agree that there's no such thing as a fair fight...;)

That's a WHOLE different story. As I have said, I have yet to encounter a HID in a non HID housing that botherd me at night. They waste a lot of light by spilling it out and not focusing it like a projector does, but they still do some focusing, and aren't blinding IMO (the 03-07 Chevy housings actually do a really good job for non-projector housings). What you describe is way different. I don't care weather it's a HID or Halogen bulb, an improperly aimed and/or flopping around headlight housing will be a billion times worse than a "properly installed" (IE: Direct replacement, no JBWeld or modifications required) HID bulb in a standard housing, becasue now you're not getting hit with stray light, you're getting hit with focused light.

But I still say you would be wise to forget the spotlight thing and just let it go... If a wreck where to ensue after you shined your spotlight on someone (and assuming you became involved), once the other driver told the police you shined the spotlight at them, you'd have a hell of a time explaining to how the other driver knew you had a spotlight in your vehicle if you hadn't done what he/she said.... At that point, you're DONE.

haha i have had HID lights in every vehicle I have owned....best thing since sliced bread.

same here man. I can't drive w/o them really. I have horrible eyes and at night i can't see shit.

tell you what though, if i got blasted in the face w/ a spot light just because i was driving by and the other guy thought they were too bright they'd be in for some shit. I have mine pointed down and everyonce in a while i still get the ol' flash treatment.

If you don't like it just look at the line on the shoulder till they pass and let it go. OR go buy a set yourself and fight fire with fire. Don't fight a match with napalm cause you'll be the one getting burned. :thumb:

Yeah I hear ya. I've taken the spot light outta my truck. I know it was 100% wrong, but I tend to be a one hitter quitter n all my buds give me heck for it. I just wish it was more regulated. My moms Beamer has them and they are freaking awesome, a sweet beam forever down the road. If u coming towards the vehicle the lights actually look dimmed out.
Guess I need to buy stock in general electric or whoever is making these, Yal see this thread n keep buying more! Lol
