How fast does everyone think a 6k truck with a legal turbo will go? What will it take and who has been fast with a 66/80 hybrid? Jeff

that will be the problem for over fueled cummins
Dmaxs should do well with good tuning & built motors

Febuary in Bradenton normally has some pretty good air. Highs in the 50's to 60's, sunshine, and 30-60% humidity.

I was guessing 10s will happen a few times. That's boot scootin!

I never did see their final word on turbo. Got tired of reading & waiting. So what did it end up being??

Adding that kind of weight to my truck would really make it slow....3200 should slow it down a bunch, and would break about everything in the car.......:rofl:

Plus i only have a single injection pump, so i dont think i could hang anyway.....


A single 66 can only flow so many CFM, that is the whole limitaion, build your engine around that and you might get somewhere.

I think there will be trucks close to the 10s (and just under). I hope to hang with them - we will see.

mid 10s will be seen. Schied turbos can make the power. getn the bastards to spool that is the problem... feb will tell...

I also believe mid 10's. With a good suspension setup and the proper converter/gearing won't take a ton of HP.

After the weekend at Brian's race I had several conversations with earl stuckey, ron from sucoast and brian buchanon. I can let you guys Know that if you build a truck for SS you will have Four races next year! The suncoast open house race at Holt, OBX buck and Jess, and Brians race on top of Feb.
These Races will be very competitive! I would like to see a volunteer help with a points system for a year end champion.

You'll see high 10's but the truck that will win it will be an 11.30 "RELIABLE" truck with an excellent driver
