I see a lot of discussion on mixed clutches in Need for Speed is there any reason not to use all one brand clutches and not gpz clutches

Sorry I'm trying to find out what cluches to use for a rebuild?

It's a legit question cause you see some of the top builders using 2 brands in one kit. Specifically alto and raybestos. I believe the biggest reason is the materials in one hold up better per application. Some clutches see more heat then others. Personally if I was you just buy a limitless kit and be done. You wont find a better kit on the market. I use his kit on my race truck. Has been in the 9s multiple times and driven on the street here and there. :thumb:

I personally would buy a kit for a reputable company/person if you are hard set on building it yourself. If you ever run it to problems they could help you out. Some of these other companies that sell "kits" don't offer real support after the sale.

If you have no experience building an Allison and have the proper tools and information, I will say get it built by a professional. I have read people buying kits and running into trouble with no support. They try to save money but end up spending more money because they have to take it to someone to fix it. You can do what you want but that is my opinion.
