Not sure if this is an issue or not or what it is.

I have a 03 lb7 on 33x12.5x20 federal cougria tires and went to drive through like 8 inches of snow or something and got stuck, went to use 4x4 I notice that none of my front wheels are spinning?

I have an ABS light on that I've been ignoring and I don't get a service 4wd thing or anything, also goes into low just fine.

Also sometimes when it's cold I hear a clunk kind of sound when I first get it out of park.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Eh, if it isn't visibly unplugged or damaged, it most likely is fine. Then i would move on to putting the truck in the air and trying 4 wheel. Seeing if the transfercase is engaging properly. If it does, then try a new front diff actuator - it just screws into the housing.

I just read about pulling the actuator and engaging 4x4 & seeing if the actuator moves.

Ill throw it up in the air tonight and see what happens, not sure what I'm looking for with the transfer case stuff, I'm assuming I should see the axels spin or something

When I bought my truck, the old man that had it had never put it in 4wd, and the "shift fork" that the actuator pushes on was bound up. I manually pushed it in and out, then my 4wd worked fine.

How did you do that?

What made you think the 4wd didn't work in the first place?

You need to get the front tires off the ground to figure out what isn't engaging.

I have the truck up in the air haha, rear wheels are spinning but fronts aren't, the shaft from front diff to tcase isn't spinning either.

If you spin the front driveshaft by hand, do the front tires turn?
