I read that thread Pat. I'm not sure why Steve has a dog in the land speed fight. He may be a parts supplier/tuner of a few vehicles running out there but he isn't suiting up so it shouldn't matter to him. He also seems to have it out for your airdam, I doubt he would feel the same if you bought it from him or was in his corner on things.

I really hope they change the rules and allow 4WD. It would allow a ton of factory type trucks to go out and enjoy Bonneville before the salt disappears.

Yep, he started that why we where still in Bonneville :(

I don't want a "board war". It the "semi-official" board for SCTA.

So you can read the thread, but please don't post in it:

Since DT doesn't have a full set of rules, it relies on all the unspecified items to be from the chapter on Gas Coupes. In Gas Coupes, you can change the area underneath the front bumper, which is referred to as the Air Dam for purposes of the rulebook. DT entries have had this area modified, and so does Casper, within the definition of Air Dam.

look I am fairly new to diesel performance and I dont have a dog in this fight but I have not seen Steve Cole do any diy write ups or help members out. In order to help a sport thrive you need to teach people "how to play" not everything can be done by yourself and I think you guys give some great tech info sorry for the rant but thanks :thumb:
