does running just the driver side perform better than the bd manifold? id probably run both with a new down pipe though. still would be nice to know

Judging by the pics you'd have to run the up pipe too. Then you'd have restrictions in the PS compared to the DS, so back to an unbalanced exhaust system. It might be better for the engine still to not have that pinch point but the reason I want the BD manifold is because it would give equal flow to each side... Just something to think about.

Unless you can fabricate or have access to fab shop you won't find a down pipe that will fit. The passenger side up-pipe & exhaust manifold flange is in the way. I think a BD manifold and some aftermarket up-pipes would give you the same results, plus all the aftermarket down pipes would fit.

If you look at the LLY up-pipes they are by no means flowing the same, passenger side is oval shaped & the drivers side has a big dent in it.

i can fab one up or have a friend of mine do it that has his own shop, hes built a tt tbss and plenty of other crazy stuff i think we can handle a DP :coolspot: i might could get a BD mani free but aftermarket up-pipes sound expensive

Well most people don't find the Kodiak's dirt cheap either.... I'm in to mine with coating about 450ish. I guess it would be what ever you could get the cheapest, because I honestly don't think the Kodiak's will out flow a bd & aftermarket up-pipes.

I think the downpipe I built would clear those. And $450 is alot cheaper than aftermarket up pipes!

Just found some for 285$ for the set! And I have a buddy that does ceramic coating so we'll give that a shot and see how it holds up.
I know a few people around me that are using them with a single charger in some daily drivers and pull trucks. it just toke some pretty severe beating of the firewall and a somewhat smashed downpipe, but u can make it work..
