He does. I personally wouldn't run a 4094 nor Nick's tuning, but he does have that particular combo tuned in good.
I got a gd price on it and I figured its better then a cheetah.. I don't have a built motor so I don't want to get pushed into a 2.6 class just by inspection. If you know a better stock appearing turbo that's better I'll consider that before I try another tuner.. I don't have boost leaks because I hit 34lbs on the street and that's awesome for this turbo I was told on stock fuel.

just sucks seeing such a low number and then get beat by a pretty much stock truck.. Tail was tucked for sure

What gear did you dyno in? SJD started out with my truck in 4th (which I knew was wrong) and my truck put down 430 hp. I told them to put it in 5th and the next run it put down almost 580 hp. Your truck with that set up should easily be in the high 500's.

Track vs weight = true HP.
Dyno's are just lie detectors and prove nothing except how much power you have in a single gear from X rpm to Y rpm. I wouldn't sweat it. ;)

My dyno numbers were 51 hp high compared to my track times vs truck weight. Dynos are fun because it gives you a "general" idea of where your at. Hell the dyno even made me 300 bucks richer!

I was on the opposite end of the spectrum. I dynoed really high, but could never get good track times. Rob does tune trucks somewhat conservatively. If he tuned everything out of every truck, and had people blowing motors left and right, he wouldn't have a very good name for himself. He leaves a few HP on the table in the name of reliability's sake.

I love Rob's tuning though, and have had the same experience as the op, Dustin, Rob and everybody at ATP Trucks have always treated me fair.

I put down 410rwhp once. 3400uS tune and 32* of timing. 24,000psi in the rails. s472, stock sticks, stock cp3

Don't sweat it dude.

^ This. I've never been to a dyno race. I couldn't care less if the truck made 300hp on the dyno as long as it ran hard at the track.
Heck I rather have that low hp truck that runs the numbers no one believes than the high hp truck that doesn't get out of its own way ;)

I highly recommend taking a datalog when trying to put down HP. Then we can look to see if the tune is in level 5, switch is working, fuel pressure is where it should be, the floor mat isn't stopping the pedals from going 100%. faulty lift pump, boost leak, dirty filters...These are things I see many times, but without a log it's all guessing.

Who's tunes where the other trucks running? I know rob holds back on the tuning.

Really? How many trucks have you tuned into the 11's? What about the 10's, 9's, 8's?. I've watched your comments since you have become a new tuna and couldn't stomach them anymore.

I believe tuning should be done for longevity of the truck and the customers needs. I'd rather hear about not making enough HP then getting the call about a broken truck. I have no problem reviewing logs and then bringing in more HP if the mechanics are there to support it.

Did I say rob is a horrible tuner? No I didn't I have never said your tunes suck or you don't know how to tune I simply said you leave some out on tuning that is it. There is nothing bad about it. Any time you tune a truck it's a risk of braking something everyone knows that. I haven't had the opportunity to tune any highly modded trucks because I don't do this full time like you do. But I do want to think you because you are the reason I started doing my own tuning. I'll leave it at that...

I dynod my truck sat and ended up with these numbers 437/937.. Stock stixs and cp3 holding 27k rail in my sled pulling max effort tune from ATP. 4094 stage 2, lift pump, deleted with up pipe, 3"dp, 3" cold/hot tubes and y-bridge, stock filter delete. I could only get 26lbs of boost but then got 34 on highway in 4th. Built trans also and other supporting mods.. I had more TQ then other trucks with just about 100 more hp.. A lly with built trans intake exhaust and tunes only, beat me..

I am very disapointed in my truck and not happy.. I could trade it in right now and never miss it.. But I geuss a 1/4 mile time will tell the truth.

Shoot rob some logs and make sure all is well! ATP knows how I make power, they have the track record to prove it too. Don't get caught up on the dyno, I made 400 a while back and then ran a 12.7 in a 4 door LML with exhaust and lift pump... That deff took more than 400hp.

Don't sweat the numbers man, get rob a datalog and then get to the track!
