60' is shitty...high 1.8s.1/8 mile was 7.93@88. Dustin is tuning it. When we were riding in it he wasn't all impressed on how it spooled. Said it spools equivalent to a billet 472 lol. In tow haul with my shifts raised to 3500 it spools alright. I know the max pulse width is 2360 and my egts are 1650 so I'm not sure how much more I can go

7.93?!? I ran faster than that with my stock turbo and nozzles! Are you running big wheels? What PSI are you launching at? There shouldn't be any lag with a VVT turbo.

Ya I'm on 305/55/20s. I'm launching around 18 which is netting me the best 60. Anymore and its a jumpy ride from the front end and any less I'm under the turbo. That's what dustin was saying with a vvt turbo it shouldn't lag that's why I was thinking of changing

Those wheels aren't helping any. :) What shocks do you have?

I would have Dustin mess with the tuning before you swapped turbos. A little more timing and fuel down low should help some. Maybe play with the vanes too. Mine doesn't even smoke...just a quick puff then you better hold on!

Just stock shocks..I got traction bars for the rear. I think the vanes are 95% closed to get it spooled up. I don't wanna have to switch but if a billet s366 will spool faster and make more power that's the route ill go.

OMG Stock shocks! That isn't good. Get some Rancho 9000s on there asap! You'll get rid of the hop for sure. Mine leaves smooth as silk at 20 psi. It even chirps the tires into 2nd. Honestly, I think I'm running the stock vane table opened up on the top end a little.

Hope you get it figured out. I'm wanting a 4094 but this doesn't sound good. But if you decide to sell it and none of the other guys wants it let me know.

Dallas Penn ran into the 10's with a stock LBZ motor, bolt ons, and a FPE billet S366.

They have a billet wheel for the 4094 now, that might help a bit. But with the manifolds and up pipes you should be lighting that thing up quick.

On my tune I opened up the vains on take off then closed them down then opened back up on the top end. That seemed to help spool up a lot. Mine was real doggy at low rpm when I had the vains tight.
