I talked to the installer today and he says by looking at the turbo kit, he cant see how the clean air-turbine-side of the turbo gets tubed. I guess the stocker tube is physically bolted onto the turbo housing, where the 4094 came with no inlet tubing. What do I need to get or what didnt I get with the install kit to make it match up?
I'm going only by what I have heard, I havnt seen anything personally to give a better description. I hope you guys know what I'm getting at!

Are you using a complete kit form PPE? Dan told me they're making a new intake for the 4094 which will be included in their complete kit. They should be available soon if not now.

Yes, I ordered the 4094 complete kit. I havnt seen it yet, but the mechanic said the turbo came with no inlet tubing and the factory tubing will not match up.
I got home late (2AM) last night and Dan had left me a message to call him. I wasnt going to call him that late, and I imagine he takes the weekend off. I'll either PM him or call on Monday.

Any news yet on a tube for the LB7's? Kat/Pat sent me one to get by but it was just a rubber elbow and now anything over 30psi of boost sucks the tube shut! I about chit my pants the first time it happened, at least I'm assuming that is what happened.
If there isnt one available I'm sure I can weld one up....is it just a basic 4" 90 degree angle?

After more studying, it loooks more like a rolling 45, but it needs to be squished a little to get by the wiring loom on the right and intake on the left. I am hoping Dan has something figured out now.....Surely I'm not the only LB7 with a 4094?

The lly is no better trying to fit something in for the intake, the stocker from the lly can be made to fit but wont flow enough air so you have to make something to work. I ended up using the elbow off of the stock airbox tube for the inlet tube, it took a little modifying with a small torch to heat and bend it a little!

Nonetheless i will say i would have been more than happy to pay more for the kit if it included the inlet tube and saved me the agravation of making something.

I TRIED building one today....I thought I could get a 3 piece 90 to fit. I should have test fit it before I welded it up---It didnt fit. I got pissed and cut about a 4-5" length of tube and shoved it down inside the boot and hooked it back up. It held boost pretty good from what I could tell. Its going to have to do for now. I dont have the time to try and make up a 5 or 7 piece 90 right now.
Like you said 05, I would have paid extra to have one that works---still will!

Ben, I've heard lb7's and lly's are different? How long of a run of straight silicone boot do you have before the elbow? I had at least 6" of straight run that the turbo would suck shut as soon as it started lighting up....I could watch it scrunch in even with someone feathering the throttle a little.
