yeah last year it was in December.
We were shooting for October this year, but couldn't get the date nailed down with the sled operator.
This one will probably be one of the biggest events we've held!

Dot and registration? Congrats, you guys will have a bunch of workstock trucks for 2.6 trucks. Should be an awesome class. Btw a mandatory electric kill on electronic trucks is retarded. All trucks should have an air kill period. An electric kill at the back does nothing for blown turbos and a motor running off oil.

That's how it is with 2.6 out my way too. All 2.6 trucks have to be registered, insured, and street driven.

With hoodstacks? Lol street driven is good for workstock level. He said they want some of the hottest trucks on another forum. You won't have that with street 2.6 trucks.

Posted this on the other forum, i'll post it here too;
You're right, i could give a **** less if the truck or driver are licensed and registered.
What do you say we just forget the set rules, and do something like this:
2.6 charger same rules as above
Stock frame
No injectables
8000lb max
Trans out of 1 ton truck or less
Some safety rules
And the rest fly's

We just want everyone to be able to come pull and have a good time and not worry about passing tech except for the important stuff
What are your thoughts?

I think that is a great idea on the reg. 2.6 is always like "hot street" or something to that nature. Yeah let me see you drive any of the top trucks to the grocery store. 2.6 is rediculous, it is way to big of a jump from work stock, to not even street legal trucks. IMO they have ruined sled pulling for the normal guy that really does have a "hot" street truck. Keep the rules, maybe make for a more even class, instead of the top 10 being trailer queens

Okay. Way too much confusion on the rules. I have deleted previous rule posts for the 2.6 class. Here is a link to the official rules for the 2.6 class.
They are basically 2.6 class rules from PPL with a couple of sections omitted. If anyone has any questions, or concerns feel free to contact me and I will answer them for you.
Again, we are trying to make it so all you guys can come and make a great end of the season pull, and take home some money at the same time.

Bump for those who have forgotten or haven't seen it, event is less than a month away.
I have also acquired over $1,000 to distribute for the dyno competition, and will hopefully raise that amount by the time the event rolls around.

We had an awesome event! Biggest turn out we've ever had, about 60 trucks on the dyno, 30 or so 2.6 trucks, 25 workstock trucks, and i think 8 unlimited/open class trucks. Something around the 1700 mark as far as spectators.

We are working on getting all of the results posted on our website, I will let everyone know once they are posted.

We just want to thank everyone that was able to make it, this event wouldn't be what it is without each and every one of you!

Already looking forward to making it bigger and better next year.
Stay tuned for results from the sled pull and dyno competition.
