I don't believe it, because I have seen way too many 4.5 blocks to believe the infinate hold. Do you really make 20,000 of something to set on the shelf?

damn now the 1/2 ton diesel pulling class will be dominated by dodges.

i could care less about anything else.

but this really does suck. I dont know if id buy one but it makes me smile everytime i see a new dmax owner and these wouldve generated many more.

Ford 1/2 ton diesel here I come. Was liking the 1/2 ton GMC, but will go with Ford. I will eventually ditch the current truck since the specs on the Ford diesel will allow me to:
Ditch the 5,500 lb truck camper (dually required) and ATV trailer holding 3 ATV.
Get a truck bed cover that will allow me to hold three ATV on it with some over hang and pull a 9,000 lb travel trailer.
I'd get more room in the travel trailer, better MPG when only hauling 3 ATV on the bed.
More storage in the bed with 3 ATV on top of the bed.
Better MPG empty on a 1/2, it will fit in the garage, and will also allow me to replace my AWD Subaru and 1 ton with a winter friendly, MPG friendly, crew cab 1/2 ton. Saves on insurance, and would get better mpg than the subaru .
Modded, the 1/2 would probably be quicker than the Dmax.
And a 1/2 ton would definitely be around town, parking friendly compared to the CC, DRW, LB that I currently have.
What a bummer on the baby duramax.

Bummer news. I had my Dad ready to sell his 1/2 ton silverado when those came out.

Would have been cool to put efi live on both trucks.

There's always 2015 when they finally get around to it... hopefully :)
