Yeah from what I've read I think I like the south bend the best. I think I am going to do the lift pump first bc I have a feeling that will really even out my acceleration. Then start saving for the clutch and flywheel. And in the mean time if the factory clutch starts slipping with the lift pump and diablo turned all the way up I can always turn it back down to the 80 or 60 hp tune. But as of right not it has not slipped once on me, even with the programmer cranked up pulling a 22 ft gooseneck with a mud truck on it.

You might get a faster truck with PPE tuner or EFI from LIke Fleece or whoever with the DSP5 tuner switch. VS2 is a good EFI tool, hey just read about these and you might give that Deablo to a baglady who needs more power on those hills.

Haha yeah I don't plan on keeping the diablo any longer than I have to. It just came with the truck when I got it. Guy that had the truck bought it like 5 years ago, just set it on the 40 hp tow tune and left it. Said he never changed it after that. But I bought a spare computer on eBay to play around with. I have been emailing buck lemoine at diablo and he said he could hook me up with a dsp switch and some custom tunes so that is probably what I'll do

I tried a friends ppe programmer and it didn't do much for my truck. Although his will haul ass with it, mine didn't improve much at all. Just smoked a lot more
