My friend owns a 3D printer. The material is super cheap, but the printer is not.

If you just want a one-off thing, look at having Shapeways do it for you. Just upload that file and they will give a quote, let you chose materials, etc.

Find a local hobby shop. Most of them have a 3D setup. TPU is cheap. Should only cost a few dollars.

I’m currently shopping for 3D printer. Hope to be up and running this winter.

I've got a 3d printer here that I tinker with every once in a while. I agree with some of the above posts, should be able to have that made for <$10. I've only ever printed in ABS but it's silly strong and hard to break with the way it prints inner-truss.
