Hello All,

Need to hear from the k3500 guys to know if the energy suspension control arm bushing kit (pn 3.3185) will fit. I've searched off and on for few hours, seems i'me the first to wonder... I'm for sure someone has figured it out.

I spoke (chat) with energy suspension on web, they said that kit isn't for the k3500, only the k2500.

I look up moog replacement parts for upper/lower control arm bushing and moog calls for same parts for k2500/k3500.

I look up raybestos professional grade parts and they call for same upper bushings form k2500/k3500, but the lower bushing are different from k2500/k3500.

Moog data makes me think it will fit/work. Raybestos scares me though.

Thanks,
Bill.

Front suspension is the same on a 2500HD & 3500HD. Your good to go.

Hub (unit bearing) is the only thing that changes between a single wheel and dually.

Thanks. I see prothane calls for same poly bushing sets too. Wonder why Energy seems to not know.

Energy Suspension vs Prothane Polyurethane bushings? I haven't figured out if the prothanes are graphite impregnated as the black Energy's are.

Just for future searchers. Energy Pn 3.3185g (upper/lower control arm bushing kit) works just fine on the k3500's. Also, Energy pn 3-5213g (36mm sway bar bushing/link kit) also fits k3500s.

Tips: Buy extra formula 5 and put the bushings in the freezer night before and press/beat/hammer the new sleeves in the lower arms bushings after you press/beat/hammer the bushings themselves in the lower arm.
