I have gone through 3 sets of Cognito H.D. tie rods in 4 years on my 05:( Granted I am probably harder then most people are on there truck's:eek:
But I wont be putting another set on when this set wears out;)

WOW:spit: What the hell is wrong with them? Mine must be magical and i have a buddy that runs tham also with no problems, that was after he folded his sleeved stockers in half LOL. Not sure if something was out of alignment or what but the drivers side looked like a damn hors hoe when he took it out LOL

Inner Keeps wearing out every 15-20k.. A buddy of mine just bent his stockers with sleeves aswell. For a all out comp truck I would go Kryptonite.. For a DD that see's some abuse I think sleeves are fine as long as your not doing something stupid like 4 wheel burnouts on pavement or something:rofl:
In Cognito's defense I heard the newer H.D. tie rods are revised and suppose to be better:confused::)

Heim joints wear out fast and will lead to alot of wandering, they are stout though, the bigger actual tie-rod ends are just $25 7/8"s 1 ton chevy TRE's that most rock crawlers use these days just on a bigger tie-rod, there great but your paying alot for them, compared to what they have into them.

Guys don't take any of my replies the wrong way! These SuperDiesel tie rods sleeves are top notch and work awesome i had them on my old duramax. I just thought you needed something stronger than sleeves for sled pulling but i stand corrected!!!:thumb:

These have been tested to extremes in drag racing and on dedicated pullers (as were all the other versions of the sleeves I've made over the years). I wouldn't put out something that wasn't up to the standards needed for full on competition (cant speak for cloned or sub-par sleeves by some fly-by-night outfit).

I know that super diesel!!! I just didn't think ANY sleeves where capable of holding up on a dedicated puller. Didn't mean to discredit your sleeves one bit they are the strongest most robust ones i have seen to date!

Oh. Not aimed at you my friend. I just want to make sure some feel at rest with what they have. It's all good. Not every one likes this flavor and chooses another route. A lot of tough stuff out there to pick from. I apologize if I came off wrong. Not my intent. It was the stupid computers fault. :D
