dammm did i drop the ball or what! lol

hear it is after a few months of service does have small seeping in my welds at the base witch i haven't addressed yet and still haven't finished out my oil cap LOL but defenetly made more room in the aria of the intake bridge witch is what i needed for the next step witch i keep saying im gonna do one of these days

lol just wanted to make sure you could see all the dirt and dust


i hope you are talking about the SS welds ( thank you)
still have a long way to go in my aluminum welding before it looks like some of my SS welds

what did you do for the base flange did you CNC one or cut the bottom off the stock piece?

yeup still have drawing hear a photo of the test piece i made the top was cut to have groove to index the riser pipe i think was 2 inch aluminum pipe i dont remember it might have been Sch. 40 or 80 the piece i made for mine was out of .75 plate and made the index groove about .125 deep

it might be a little time before i could git to cutting out one or more


that little notch is necessary to clear the head of the bolt so if you plan on making one you will have to accout for that i was able to cheet a little by switching to socket head bolts ( Allen heads) instead of the factory bolts

i might be willing to provide the DXF to any one who wished to knock one out on there own CNC

sure you can have my prototype plastic piece ;) lol :D

if i sold the pipe i am running it would be a step backward toward the ultimate goal making a true shaker cowl induction hood ( think early trans-am) but with stilling a bit bigger and matching the hoods overall lines and shape

ill see if i can git some photos up in my garage if the intake
