Suncoast 1053 for 4 years at 600+ no issues yet.
You're not putting enough hp to hurt it.
I've got about 5k on a cheap pos precsion of new hampton in my lb7. Made noise from day 1 but it's never slipped. I have an ML-G ready to go in my lbz when I get it going. Another buddy has 2k daily driving and towing with an ML-G and it is a pretty damn good converter for a stock turbo/small twin lbz/lmm
How many miles did you get out of those 58 chris? And better question to those of you that know...can you make a 1058 into a 1054?
As far as converter choice; I use only Goerend or Suncoast. I'm not interested in using any other company.
Just wondering why you are not interested in using anyone else? You were using Precision back when my trans was built and that is what I have in mine. Just wondering if they have had a lot of issues or what has changed.
