Update: Every 5 speed truck making more than stock power should have 3.42s. It spends more time in each gear so the trans seems happier and isn't shifting so much, it pulls much smoother, and it dropped the rpms a bunch on the highway which killed the exhaust drone and generally makes my pants tight. DO IT.

told ya  :D

What do you guys think about going to 3.42's on a 5 speed with 35" tires.... although they really measure 34.2" at full tread mounted....

it will be really long legged. more so than steve said and even more than my truck on 3.73 and 37s.

go to www.grimmjeeper.com and play with the calculator to see what you might like

this is my truck on 37s and 3.73 vs your truck on 3.42 and 35s. thats a decent increase

now Steves vs your truck on 35s and 3.42. HUGE difference
