2wd output shaft diameter

I'm in the process of LB7 swapping my 02 Escalade. The donor LB7 truck I bought was 4x4, and I'm converting the trans to 2wd. I bought a used 2wd tailshaft housing and a new OE output shaft. The problem I'm having is the surface of the output shaft that is supposed to ride inside the ball bearing in the tail shaft housing seems to be too large of a diameter. The splines of the output shaft fit through the bearing, but the bearing wont fit over the portion of the shaft where it's supposed to sit when fully installed.

I was hoping someone may have the O.D. of the shaft and/or the I.D. of the bearing so I could compare and make sure I received the right parts.

You did remove the trans and stand it up right?
