So I just saw another thread on here about 4x4 launches and gave me the idea so ask about 2wd.
I plan on running my truck at the ATS truck fest on Aug. 9th and if I want to get a decent time Im going to have to get some better launches than I have been getting now. Ill be happy if I run anything in the 13's
So any tips to getting a good 2wd launch? Right now even if I launch at like 6 or 7 psi i roast the tires. Its no good. But all those launches were on bald and hard 35in toyos. I have in my garage waiting to be mounted 285/55/20 nitto 420S. So hopefully theyll hook up a little better.
I was maybe thinking getting some weight in my bed to help for some traction? ( I have water sacks I use in my boat to help get a bigger wake.) But im not sure if the drag stip will allow anything in the bed?
SO any knowledge or tips you guys have let me know! It will be much appreciated!
