2nd gear start tune

Test it out on the road. I set mine up to start in 3rd this last weekend and go into 4th but I forgot to raise the RPM limit so it wouldn't shift into overdrive. Well I ended up hitting overdrive and loosing all my momentum.

....but also makes it much easier to burn up your converter if you sit on it too long at the starting line. I never did try a second gear start even though I talked about it a lot.

I could see that being a problem. I have to sit a little longer than normal to get boost up because of my tight converter and the trans gets real hot real fast, and thats with a 1st gear launch.

I used a 2nd gear start tune last year. Weahter or not that contributed to be taking 3rd place first time out, I don't know. We'll see what happens tonight as I'll be running it again.
