You'll have to change both shift mph and shift rpm to zero on the 1-2 (I also did the 2-1), and IIRC the T/H and 4lo modes are switched. So just change every mode except "normal". Sorry don't know the table numbers in my head, and I'm not near my laptop.

I've been meaning to play with it but, you will have to stay on the throttle, either constant or continue giving it slightly more throttle input or it will down shift to first and go back to second once you increase again. I think the 2-1 downshift should be maxed out so it never tries to downshift back to first. It's on my list of things to try.

So if you roll forward just letting off the brake, it will shift to second, you than have to give it some throttle so it will stay in second, and keep it constant or increase slightly to keep it in second. If you let off any once you are stopped, it will go back to first, and when you increase throttle it will go back to second

that's how it works with mine, Kyle. I put it into the M2 section instead of just regular T/H. Just get ready to bump it up after you're gone :)

Yeah I gotta play with the 2-1. Because its constantly downshifting to 1 again. But truck leaves wayyyy smoother now

Theoretically the 2-1 should be lower than the 1-2, but you can't go below zero. Just keep light steady throttle input while staging, it'll stay in 2nd.

I personally think we are missing a few key tables in EFI to make it work 100%

I recently got a 2nd gear start tune, but wasn't able to test it out at the track so I will have to wait until next season. Looking foward to some smoother takeoffs!

Testing out how high your converter will stall with a 2nd gear tune may or may not break a stock motor mount :spit:

The 2-1 should only be lower if you want it to downshift. I was told put all zeros in is the correct way, but I'm going to try going way up with the 2-1. If 2-1 is set at 200mph, in therapy, it should never try to go back down to first

Yes it will. The computer will think it should downshift at anything below 200mph. So all the time basically.

I've tried all sorts of things. For some reason 3rd and 4th gear starts work really well. 2nd gear starts are finicky. Do it wrong and they simply "hunt" from 1st to 2nd and back to 1st.....

Well I guess I didn't read the description where it says under XX mph commands downshift. Wonder if you can go negative since EFI release the ability to go outside off set limits.

I also had a 3rd gear start tune for pulling and it is completely fine. Doesn't hunt at all
