265/70r16 proxes on pyos?

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with these tires at the track? Im looking for something to get my 60s down. I saw Scott (blk smoke lb7) ran these and cut a 1.59. I will only use them at the track and there price isn't bad. I cut high 1.7s but im looking for the 1.6s.

I ran the original Proxes on PY0 on my truck. Wont find a lighter street-tire combo than those. Best 60 was 1.60. They worked very well. Still have them in the garage if I ever get a wild hair to go racing again.

Well I just ordered the tires in the original post. Good info Tom hopefully I can get a 1.6x. I been running 12.4s with high 1.7s and 1.8s. What's everyone doing for suspension? Currently I have rancho 5000rs in all 4 corners. T bar bolts out and pass side 3 turns still left in. Rear is stock with 60" long bars and spring clamps for stiffness.
