My wife's aunt had both knees replaced at the same time. She is 75 years old and now she can outwalk me in the woods. she is quite a lady.

good luck on the surgery ,and i cannot stress enough on how important physical therpy is if u do not work that hip your hip and will be stuck in the sitting position like what happend to my dad when he got his done and my brother didnt take him to therepy and help him do the excersizes he was supposed to help him with. good luck!!

did they get you up right after surgery? my dads friend just had it done. they woke him up and said "your gettin up right now" 3 hours after surgery he was standing on it. whew!!!! makin me have the willies right now thinkin about it
i was up and walking 15 hours after surgery...my hip will never get stuck unless it friction welds itself stuck from fffffff...well doing private things with the with wife
update, still fairly sore, but i am now getting around pretty good with a cane and back to working on that damned diablo trying to work out the bugs on the blower set up, and get more air out of those tiny things simce they only put out around 3 1/2 psi @ 6600 engine rpm. did an N/A dyno pull before the blowers and made 411 AWHP and with the blowers...well...see here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6k__tCMtjZA
