North of the boarder package used to have fuel and oil heaters and extra battery on the gasser if I remember correctly. They may have had auxiliary fuel powered heaters as an option I can't remember. I'd bet it's similar...

When you put a 30 inch lift and 32x18 wheels with 60 inch tires on it, this one will probably feel a little laggy too! lol

Can't wait to see what it looks like after you put a few of your touches on it. I always appreciated your attention to detail.

The 2 I saw were not chromed out . They were WT models with 17" wheel with a hybrid at/mt tire. Oh I forgot it also had a factory spray in bed liner. The price on the were 49k which had my attention until it was a wt

driven a few LML's, they are by no means laggy but the L5P is quite a different feeling. I think it has more to do with how the Allison is tuned. It shifts a little bit later and the converter feels like its locked and ready to go. Just my experience so far.

I'm just giving you a hard time! I hope that about 20 years from now I can afford an L5P.

That and I'm betting some of the changes to the emissions controls allows a bit more fueling down low without creating excessive soot.

With how quiet and refined they now are I'm not sure I would mind a work truck package. Cloth has always been okay with me, I only use navigation on phone now. I wouldn't even mind vinyl floors if road noise is low. I think I will be looking for one Jan-March 2018 to see if I can get a good deal on one. Plus I need some time to save up unfortunately.

With how quiet and refined they now are I'm not sure I would mind a work truck package. Cloth has always been okay with me, I only use navigation on phone now. I wouldn't even mind vinyl floors if road noise is low. I think I will be looking for one Jan-March 2018 to see if I can get a good deal on one. Plus I need some time to save up unfortunately.

I like vinyl floors. Most cover it all up with big floor mats anyways

The best combo in my mind would be a loaded truck with options and vinyl floors. That way you have all the fancy amenities but yet you can hose out the muddy floor.

I'd prefer to have a rubberized bedliner over vinyl. It acts as a sound dampener to reduce the road noise over the vinyl and its water proof so you can actually hose the floor. I might do that in my truck when I rip out the interior to put sound deadener on, starting to get a little annoyed by the tire noises on long trips.

This is a good idea. Might do this if I ever wreck my carpet.

Agreed, I hate carpet in trucks
when I did my cab swap a year & 1/2 ago I ripped out the carpet & put a vinyl floor in. I also have weather tech mats in the front to dump out the majority of the tracked in dirt & sand
I wish i had a floor shift in that truck even thou I like the storage of the center console

The problem for me an d trucks without carpet is dust. The carpet seem to hold more dust so I can just vacuum it once and a while. With vinyl it seems like I have to scrub the floors every few weeks. And detail shop like to Armorall the vinyl floors even when you tell them not to. Then they are like slip and slides getting in and out.
