It is a 2 sided disc and it starts coming apart at 800 lb tq.

So it's not better than a LMM converter? I was running an Idaho rob tune in my LMM. 120hp at the wheels, granted I was never hard on the truck but I never had problems. So if I run a "trans safe" 200hp tune like Kory W. advertises my converter will explode? Like I said tho I'm not hard on the truck, I do a little stop light to stop light driving but I hardly EVER do full throttle runs, and I for sure don't let it shift into overdrive under load.

No it won't explode. It will probably slip though. Just put a good converter in and let her eat. Just know that's it's only a matter of time....

I beat the piss out of mine on a max effort built trans tune for the last 50k with no issues, I don't understand the hype around these trans tunes. Mine hasn't skipped a beat yet, no mods at all...

I always watched my LMM with my scanner and never slipped. Oh well I'm just going to get delete kit, FASS Titanium lift pump and tunes from Kory and call it a day.

I beat up my 2011 lml for 5 years with a max tune. The trans never gave me a problem. I deleted it with 300 miles. My 16 lml now has a Ridgerunner tune on kill also since it's had 500 miles. Trans shifted good and it shifts even better now that I messed with the Trans tune a little. Waiting on my bt lock up box and pressure box to get here.

Aren't lml trans living longer because the cp4 cant really put out enough fuel to make enough power to really hurt one? Aren't guys going with cp3's ending up having to build there trans to hold up? Just asking.

If anyone wants to buy a solenoid for the main mod i have a brand new one for sale, I ordered a few a while back and have one left.
