2015 Silverado Headlights

These projectors are horrible. Has anyone done any mods to improve the poor lighting or anyone have any ideas to improve the lighting quality?

I'm over these horrible factory projector headlights. What would it take to upgrade the projectors with the 2016 Silverado 1500 LED headlights that are super bright?

The factory projectors aren’t that bad. Considering all the work it would take to fit good ones inside the housing. Just get some HID’s for them

You can get a kit with D2S projectors and adapter brackets. Drops straight in the back, no cutting. Definite improvement over stock.

Yeah, factory ones come straight out the back. Only in the Silverados tho, GMCs you’ve got to cut the rear cover a bit.

I just got done changing out my low beams with Morimoto D2S projectors and hid bulbs. I also swapped the highs, fogs and turn signals with Morimoto led’s. I got a low beam kit with brackets, projectors, bulbs and ballasts, the install was really straight forward and was a big improvement over the factory setup.

That is the kit that I used.

I have a GMC, but I used DDM Tuning Saber LED bulbs and I've been happy with the performance in the factory projector housing.
