Replaced pistons on my motor and put the motor back in the truck. Starred right up but won't go into gear that's the first question Whats the deal? 2nd I started looking for blown fuses and the ecm throttle control fuse was blown put a new one and started the truck up. Then the truck died and the pwr tran relay started buzzing unless you take out the ecm throt control fuse our which is number 17. Now truck will start sometimes but die. If the fuel gauge isn't working and its on empty truck wont turn over. If it's working and on full it'll start for a minute and die. On the code reader I have all kinds of codes ecm pcm bcm and tcm no Communication. Any ideas?

Considering we have absolutely no idea what you did or how you did it, and arent there to see it, theres really no way to even guess.

But.......please post every code you see, and maybe someone can interpret them to point you in a direction to try.

It started and ran good until I replaced the # 17 fuse and now I've had problems with it since.

I haven't found anything on wiring or ground yet. How would you know on a bad module? Also would this make the pwr tran relay buzz when the ecm thrott control fuse is plugged in.

Ok guys I got the truck running again thanks. Some reason it's showing cylinder 2 contribution balance which is code p0266 and cylinder 2 misfire detected code p0302. Cylinder 2 has new injector and new piston Whats the deal. Thats the cylinder that had a cracked piston. Any ideas?
