it helps but the converter is the next weak link supposedly ats co-pilots help them alot as well im sure ill put a suncoast in mine after a while

I've been told the co pilot helps a lot. A friend had an 08 with a 66 and some tuning and the trans held to together for 3 years with just the co pilot.

For a stock to mild tuned deleted truck, the trans tuning helps a lot and is a lot cheaper than the co pilot

I can't believe that 6.7 are problem child you think as long as cummins been around that they got that thing figure out.

We have had more problems with 5.9s as far as injectors to short blocks than any other diesel at our place.(besides 6.0s!) I think we are up to 11 short blocks replaced in 5.9s

Ours have been pretty good. I don't think they regen to much. We are seeing 14mpg and thats with a 100mile round and idling 8 hrs a day. We did have a trans issues on all of them though, but after they're fixed they have been fine.
