cheaper sounds better to me and thanks for the tire info. the 265s are Michelins and there about slick would they allow that and would it help traction any sense they are about slick?

Yeah they should be ok I run a half worn out mild all-terrian tire on my stock wheels and they hook up really well

There is a fairly large vendor section where the pulls were last year...not sure if it is still there or if it will be at beach bend.
