Actually they are correct they get around 29.8 mpg on the new 6.7 but that is with the 3.11 rear gear. Not the normal one which is 3.53 or 3.70s dont remember which.
BULLSHIT! Anything that good would not be approved. Any breakthrough like that would never see the light of day, especially in a hd pickup. trust me, someone is yanking your chain.

those trucks are a joke. Not a chance in hell. A guy i know has one and says the mileage is shit, its only about 15 mpg. Plus the LML is way better of a truck!!

All the guys I know around here say they are lucky to get 15 on a good day. And there are two new Ford Cabela editions sitting outside my window that say 13-15 is average.

Funny, when others have tested the 6.6 LML vs 6.7 PS, they call the mileage a wash. If anything, GM has a slight advantage.

No Dmax gets 30mpg highway in real driving. Note that the Ford articles mentioned drafting and "Ford Mileage Tips".

Perhaps the "1000 lb payload" was a bunch of 5 gal fuel cans in the bed, or a 100 gallon propane tank ...
