You can pick up a low mileage 2010 for like 18 grand. But 2011 and up are more expensive for some reason. And this truck has EVERYTHING. Not saying I got a good deal but hey.
I think you’re best bet is to work a deal on your old truck with the dealer.

I’ll crash into it with my Dodge Dart. I was gonna trade it in for the GM year end event at our local dealer but then I seen the 19’ silverados and was like “we can wait 10 months”

Well guys. Went to go look at an 02 ccsb a minute ago. Add said rust issues. Turns out it was a PA truck. The driver doors covers were about to rust off tho haha price is right at 6500 but I don’t think I wanna Deal with it
What kind of mileage is everyone getting with these??? I just bought a 2011 CrewCab King Ranch 4x4 with 3.55's and the 3.5 ecoboost. If I take off slow and drive it like 60-65 on the hwy and take it easy the little I drive in town I might get 15mpg. If I drive it normal 75mph hwy and take off normal around 13-14 avg. Trucks is all stock except 33x12.50x20 tires on the stock wheels . Tires no taller than stock but I'm sure 20lbs each heavier than the 4ply 275-55x20 it came with when new.
Any ideas? This the normal? I already put the updated plugs in it etc.

Have almost the same exact rig. Mileage is almost identical. I haven’t hand calculated it yet but I think the read out may actually say I little worse than what you’re getting. I took a 55 mpg 2 lane drive the other day and it said 22 mpg. Seems like the least little load to get the turbos spinning and mileage tanks.
It tows so damn well that I really don’t care about the mileage. There is nothing Eco about them tho just a little boost and lots of gas.

Sounds like normal mileage on what I've seen.. tires kill it too.. most I see are 17 ish completely stock
Ok, just making sure something wasn't wrong with mine or if there was some $1k fix to bump MPG 2-4mpg I'd be all over it .
Like most times the advertised 15-21 is bullshit. I see guys posting 17+ avg and either gotta be bullshit or they are in a base truck that weighs a lot less or something .

What a shame! I know the EcoBoost make a bit of power, but our Tahoe does 17mpg at 75. That loaded for a trip with 4 plus people and on 20s with AT tires.

Kubitza same here. Ecoboost getting great mileage is bull****. I struggle to get 15 City and 17 Highway. My tires are 4 ply 275/60 on stock wheels. Plus. This ford sync it the biggest POS I have ever experienced. I’m sure an unloaded 2x4 standard cab STX truck will get better but heavy loaded down pigs like ours no way. I miss my duramax mileage. 500hp and 16-17 City.
I like the truck , they are just way the hell off on mileage. Only other option for half ton for me was this or another Tundra . Gave up on GM new trucks are junk IMO . My cousins shop always has 5.3's tore down because the lifters etc are junk. Interiors look cheaper made to me anyways.
Never had a Ford so figured I'd give it a whirl . Simply bought it since my Max just blew head gasket and I needed wheels ASAP. Just built full billet trans for it so no idea when I'll get to spending the money to stud it etc or what I'll do with it just yet.

True but it won't tow like the Eco Boost. I had a friend who had one and told me about the mileage, so I knew going in what I was getting. I tow a 4k boat around 150-200 miles a week and dollar for dollar this motor can not beat for that. The torque curve is very diesel like. If only towing once a month or short distances I would say the 5.0 is the better option.
I've got to say, I've only had chevys all my life but I've been very impressed with this F150 so far.
