Beautiful truck!! My brothers 2011 mega cab black on 20" novakanes with 35" toyo's with a custom H&S MCC tune and stock trans.
My brother and I were out BS'ing saturday night, and I showed him the GPS recording of 142.2mph where I made a run between packs of cars on the road. He has some clean BMF novakans on 35" toyo's he just put on, and decided that he has at least 142mph in his truck with the new setup!
later that night on the way home, he stretches it out! we are going about 70mph, and he comes up behind me with a running start. I see him running up on me and I floor it (smokes until the turbo's light) as he gets on me and changes lanes to pass. he made it just past my front bumper as I reel him in and pull away. We both knew that was coming, not comparing that part.
I believe he made it to 130mph (I'll ask him for the mph he saw). I didn't have my GPS on but I'm 100% sure I passed the previous recording of 142mph. She was singing!!
I was betting on him running out of power before running out of gearing on those 35's. I believe that's what happened. I think he was hitting his defuel too at that point so that definitely didn't help.
It was good for a few laughs anyway!! Ol' silver checked out! All he saw was a bowtie tailgate fading into the night! :woott:
