I was told yesterday by a guy that ford is coming out with their own ford made diesel engine that is supposed to be making like 600hp, has anyone else heard this? I've looked online but can't find anything, i'd never own another ford, but i sure don't want one passing me either lol

that guy is waist deep in bullshit! He will need hip waders to get thought all of it. Ford's # will be close to the dmax in power #s. same as cummins. you guys realize that hp #s have been close within 25hp overall from one to the other for a few years now.

I ment capable of making. I think the dmax should be capable of 650-675rwhp to be able to compete with for as far as hp is concerned for us warranty voiders with EFI Live or SCT for the Ford Guys with some mods.

390hp sounds right. The last power run and blowby test i ran on the lml, the #s were: 391 hp and 75x ft lb tq

Can you find out how much heavier the new GM frame/truck is then the old GMT800 or LMM max equipped truck?

Ford is claiming 735 tq.GM is claiming 700 tq, I dont know about the weight. We did have a brand new truck out in the parking lot that had the new funny looking 5 spoke wheels on it, and had a big yellow sticker on the bed that said "diesel engine equipped" by the fuel filler door. i dont think i will be able to jack it up and put wt scales under the wheels:rofl:
