I just bought a 2010 Duramax and looking for a good tuner for it. What's everyone running to get best results? I assume I need to get a turbo back exhaust and egr delete to do this right? Which vendor do you guys suggest. Thanks in advance.

There are several vendors on this site that sell EFILive tunes.

You can get a turbo-back exhaust and a emissions-delete tune, but depending on where you live, that can cause you to be unable to smog/register the truck.

I know at least IdahoRob / Adrenaline Truck Performance sells emissions-compliant tunes that keep the factory exhaust. Heck, he has [THREAD=63908]a 2013 LML running over 500 HP with all the factory emissions working![/THREAD] Other vendors might be able to do emissions-compliant tunes as well.

Deleting the factory exhaust and egr system is needed to unlock fill potential in the tunext correct? Anybody want to recommend me a good vender with proven tunes.

Oh, I see. I didn't even click the link....

Just to be clear, what I said wasn't directed at PPEI.

I have had tunes from Manfred, kory Willis and mark at Danville. Manfred was decent but had a lot of smoke on all tunes. I had nothing but trouble with korys tunes. From my high idle to smoke when pulling a small grade in 6th. He did make it right with me. Mark is the one that pleased me as I am very picky. I did have him tune it on the dyno and it made more clean power then I was hoping for. He's very good at what he does on every level and you can't beat the customer service of Danville performance. Hands down the best service as he will actually talk to you. I got tired of emailing kory every 5 minutes because something wasn't right. Marks usually busy on the dyno but he does call you back. It's all about how you are with your truck. You want smoke call Manfred. If you want reliable power and good customer service call mark. Not trying to start a pissing war but that's my personal experience over the past 4 years with two different duramaxs.:thumb:

Hucksdorf is a few minutes away from Milwaukee and they use Danville for there tuning and have a dyno as well to make tweaks etc to setups.
